  1. I was diagnosed in January 2022 as a Type 2 Diabetic.
My father was a diabetic on medication and my older brother is taking insulin shots daily.

I am currently taking 1000 mg of Metformin daily. I was 208 lbs when diagnosed and now weigh 183. I have bloodwork every 3 months then see my doctor for results the next week. I use My Fitness Pal to track my meals including carbs. I have increased my exercise by walking. I would love to be off the medication!
